Mentoring

Mentoring is something I am very passionate about — in particular, supporting and encouraging women pursuing Robotics and CS. I enjoy working through different organizations to network and mentor students in my field.

Former Mentor — CMU School of Computer Science Mentorship Program

• I mentored a group of bright and hard working young women at CMU in Computer Science. We met throughout the semester to discuss how everyone’s research and classes were going. We discussed how I could support them in classes, navigating their research, and general networking.

Former Coding Instructor - Girls Who Code

• During my undergrad I was an instructor for the GWC organization, which provided weekly free coding classes to middle school & high school girls. I developed curricula to teach C++, Python, and Arduino coding. I also helped create an empowering and fun environment for students to learn and excel in CS and Robotics!
